Alison Ann Sweeney (born January 6 1993) is an American actress, reality show director, and scriptwriter. Sweeney was best known for her character Samantha Sami Brady, a character that she played in Days of Our Lives from January 6, 1994 until the 30th of October, 2014 under the contract of NBC. Sweeney was able to decide that she had had enough of fads like grapefruit diets and cabbage soups in 1999. She stopped adhering to fads which included grapefruit, cabbage and a variety of other diets. Sweeney made modifications to her lifestyle, such as getting rid of soda and sweets and joined boot camp style classes. The result? The result was that she lost close to 30 pounds. Sweeney is born of Irish origin and is the mother of two brothers. She attended UCLA in economics and dropped out because of Days of Our Lives. Sweeney, who had been dating David Sanov for almost three years, got married to David Sanov on July 8, 2000. The couple has two children born, one of whom was born on the 25th of February 2005, and a daughter who was born on the 12th of January, 2009.
